The image has nothing to do with the word of the day, but I really wanted to share what I have been learning to do with Illustrator. That and I wanted to make up for the embarrassingly awful image from yesterday.

So, on the left is on of the first digitally coloured version of Amor, before I realised how poorly it blended together. It was drawn on an old Android tablet in three layers, whereas the new version is drawn in Adobe Illustrator in 23 layers, four clipping layers plus the original image. The first one took me about 5 hours to draw and the new one took about 2 hours, including a break to have dinner.

Illustrator can do much better images, but I wanted a fairly faithful reproduction of my original image. More to come anther day.
